Lukaku to United for Pogba

PETITIONS Paul Pogba at Manchester United became an inspiration for Romelu Lukaku wants to move to Old Trafford as well.
 
Lukaku, 24, started training with United's squad in Los Angeles on Isnin a few hours after the £ 75 million (RM415 million) transfer from Everton was unveiled.
 
The move was a record between two English clubs and the five-year contract offered a £ 200,000 (RM1,106,662) salary a week.
 
Lukaku says Pogba plays a "big role" in his move.
 
In a missed temurama being a United player, Lukaku turned off the MUTV television channel that his decision to find a move to Old Trafford was made after watching Pogba accompany the club last year.
 
"He's a good friend of mine and a neighbor too.
 
"Last season when he was in contract with United, of course it was really inspiring and I knew if I had a chance to go to United I would not refuse.
 
"At the end of my career, I want to say that I can play for troops who always give a challenge in an attempt to win trophies.
 
"This is what the Americans sent.
 
"I am grateful to be here and will not membusirkan opportunities given," he said.
 
Displacement Lukaku unite with Jose Mourinho who sold the attacker to Everton in 2014 at Chelsea.
 
Lukaku is in Los Angeles for five United's pre-season resistance.
 



The Belgian striker may be making his first appearance for United in the opening pre-season opener against the Los Angeles Galaxy on Saturday.
