Cat Munckhin Type

One of the many breeds of cats is the Munchkin race. The special feature of this cat type is short-legged. Despite having short legs but no problems or disturbances on his spine.

This was investigated by Dr. Solveig Pfluege that for 7 years he did research on this cat race. He found no interference with Munchkin. The gene that causes short legs in this cat is the same as that of the Daschund dog race. Unfortunately in dogs even have backbone disorders.

The nature of this type of cat is very fond of playing. Just be good if invited to play with his employer. This is because Munchkin easily adapt to humans and other animals.

The history of the Munchkin cat race itself started by a doctor named H.E. Williams who invented the short-legged cat. But unfortunately the cat disappeared after World War II. Whatever kind of cat that found it. But many people believe it is Munchkin.

History was later continued in 1983. Sandra Hochenedel (Master of Music) found two female cats in a truck. Well the two cats are in a state of pregnancy. One is gray and the other is black.

Both are named Blueberries and Blackberry. Characteristics of the two types of cute cats are short legs. After Blackberry gave birth, some of his children were also short-legged. And one was given to his friend, Kay LaFrance.

Well by Kay LaFrance, this cat race is named Toulouse. He then cultivates it and finds his kitten also short-legged. The name munchkin itself is inspired by the Film Wizard of Oz. In the film there are dwarves named munchkin.

This type of cat is still a stone but do you know why this cat race became quite popular quickly. This is because when munchkin sit then hind feet are similar to the position on the rabbit.
