The modern lifestyle exposes us to the continuous pollution of sound, the same as in the workplace or during live activities that lead to the reduction of the average age of the hearing problem.
The World Health Organization (WHO) reports that as many as 360 million people worldwide have hearing problems including 32 million children.
Hearing problems may be genetic, complications at birth, outbreaks of certain diseases, chronic ear infections, substance abuse, exposure to excessive noise and aging.
However, 60 percent of hearing problems apply in the infant because of the preventable stem.
It is estimated that approximately 1.1 billion of the world's population aged 12 to 35 years are at risk of hearing problems due to unsafe sound stages rather than recreational equipment (personal audio equipment, clubs, concerts and noisy workplaces).
In fact, the country's occupational health and safety agency also expressed a hearing problem of one of Malaysia's three major occupational diseases, as well as lower back pain and upper arm muscle problems.
To get a clearer picture of the hearing problem in the country, the hearing-care provider, Nessa, conducted an inquiry in January as a corporate social responsibility (CSR) educated the crowd and gave some consciousness of missing hearing attempts.
Based on the examination, 65 percent of Malaysian people have never had a hearing test before.
The three main problems of hearing or related symptoms experienced by the Malaysian people are the humming in the ears (40 percent), dizziness (25 percent) and difficult to hear (22 percent).
In fact, 90 percent of Malaysians who have hearing problems do not use hearing aid, despite the physical and psychological impression in their lives.
This is because, many people who think using a hearing aid tool mean they are old or less effort. There are also those who think of a hearing problem partly than aging and ignore it.
To make matters worse, a handful of individuals with hearing problems use a voice amplifier to handle hearing problems.
Nessa Pte Ltd's Chief Medical Officer Dr Ogan Gurel says hearing's health is very important for people to function, as well as the dread of greatly affecting the health of the brain as a whole.
"One study found hearing problems were associated with cognitive impairment in older adults and golds who had hearing problems were more likely to have severe pain within a certain period of time.
"Hearing problems that are not addressed not only impinge on auditory hearing to hear accurately, in fact it also aligns cognitive function at a higher stage," he said.
Dr. Gurel said so in a session of conversation for the smoothening of the Better Listening, Better Life 2017 Nessa's suggestion, recently.
Also attending talkshows, PDRM President Squad 69, Abdul Aziz Bakar, celebrity tinnitus (ear doodle), Steve Yap and Nessa Executive Chief Executive Olivier Carnohan.
At the same council, Nessa also launched a hearing aid tool that was shaped with Apple when it could be transmitted via the iPhone, in addition to the typical design for shared use when watching television.
The use of hearing aid devices is light and small and almost invisible when used to help deal with any stigma for those reluctant to use equipment in question.
Dr Gurel is also a future medical technology expert said, the technology of care in the future will give emphasis to the science of health in the maintenance of health care so that the concept along with the modern lifestyle.
Meanwhile, Geriatric Medical Experts Hospital Kuala Lumpur Hospital (PHKL), Datuk Dr Rajbans Singh said, healthy aging is very important to ensure the welfare and quality of the lives of gold residents following their loss of various physical endeavors such as chewing, less energy, memory retarded And poor vision and hearing.
"In Malaysia, about 30 percent of the 3.8 million gold residents have a certain stage of hearing problems. Hearing problems break down day-to-day functions, communication and relationships with people around.
"Crowds of gold residents who are experiencing hearing problems feel alienated and tend towards melancholy. Better hearing certainly would mean the quality of life is also better.
"Therefore, the hearing aid tool should be seen as a support system to help smooth the hearing and quality of hearing," he said.
